Went to Edinburgh last weekend for a day. It was beautiful, sigh...i wish i could have stayed there longer. Unfortunately, it was a one day trip organised by the Postgrad Society..so, we have a schedule to stick to.
I think i only saw 50% of Edinburgh due to the time constrain. There wasn't enough time to buy any souveniers, just managed to buy three measly postcards. Which i lost one..my favourite one too..i think i dropped it on the street. I have a bad habit of not zipping my bag.
The next place i want to visit is Glascow, then hopefully London...hehe
Let's see, what did i do in Edinburgh. Well, i took a tour around the city on the City Sightseeing Tour bus(7.50 pounds) which went around the city stopping at the major attractions. So i managed to visit Edinburgh Castle, Museum of Scotland, National Gallery and Greyfriars Bobby. The last one was cute. They have a statue of Greyfriars Bobby. I was tempted to buy a kilt, but my pocket is still burned from the last trip.
There's a lot of attractions in Edinburgh that i missed. One day is definately not enough.
I am procastinating! Should really go back to doing my work. But before that, i am going to cut my own hair...the fringe i mean, cause my mum is not here to cut it for me anymore..err, hope it will turn out presentable.
