Visited the life science center today. Price of admission ticket for students was 3.99 pounds. Had a good time there. Besides the usual science stuff(i think Petroscience is better), had some fun trying other weird games as well.
Learned some science from a demonstration about the three properties of matter. Very simple science actually...and it's for kids...but i understand so much better now. Goes to show that reading is not the number one way to learn. Hands on experience is still the best. Or maybe the fun way it was done made it so interesting.
However, i enjoyed the SpongeBob SquarePants 3D simulator ride the most!
Ended the day with a walk in a spinning tunnel painted with black strips on a white background. It created the illusion that the world around me is spinning. I'm still feeling nauseous now. Feel like puking...
For those who are planning to come to UK for a holiday....Yeah! Don't forget to visit little old me here at Newcastle. Or you guys can cut cost and crash here at my flat. That would be cool :)
And yes Ck, it is definately much cheaper for you to travel around Europe once you are here. Highly recommended! But be warned that during peak seasons all the europe tour packages will be fully booked. So plan in advance.
And i know that you guys might prefer to backpack around Europe, but it really is difficult..so do consider joining a tour.

As for shopping..err...most things sold here are made in China..unless one is willing to pay higher, of course. Don't know about London though, have not been there yet, but heard that things are definately more expensive there.
And i realise that there really is only one season here in Newcastle....cold season...i want sun! (whine)

well, definitely not worth it to buy China made stuffs from there. I heard tat u can things sold in Leeds is much cheaper. Is that true? n do you roughly know how much wud the Europe package tour cost? be a good gal n help me with tat info,ok. thanx a lot.
