Howie Day, Collide

Heard a great song on radio today. It's by a dude who goes by the name Howie Day and the song is titled 'Collide', taken from his 2003 album 'Stop All The World Now'. It's not exactly new but that particular song has been stuck in my head for some time now. So when i heard it again today, lucky lucky me, the DJ mentioned the name of the artist and song. I just HAD TO down load it..err..legally,i hope..
I really find it amazing how a certain song can just grab someone and make one fall in love with it with just one listen. I wonder what makes a song special..the musical arrangements, lyrics, voice, tune? I guess this is why music is so subjective. Everyone to their own taste. A toast to individuality!
I can't put my finger on what makes this song so memorable to me though. I just like it!
Oh anyway, for no particular reason i just love the melody. So melancholy and subtle. Don't know about the rest of the songs in his album though, cause i have only heard the song Collide. But i absolutely adore it..sigh
A snippet of the chorus:( I love this part)

Even the best fall down sometimes,
Even the wrong words seem to rhyme,
Out of the doubt that fills my mind,
I somehow find,
You and I collide,

One of my more memorable song somehow is Why by Avril Lavigne. *lol* Kinda felt that the lyric just sent a blow to my heart [if that is possible].A little spooked out after that as it described exactly how I felt then...*lol* of course the tune and everything else help too...
