I love reading! Well, although i only read certain genres. Let's see, i now have a few good books to read. Went on a shopping frenzy at the Times warehouse sale and on impulse spent RM58. I don't have any regrets buying the two Garth Nix books-Lithriel and Abhorsen. Although the price was discounted, but it still costs a bomb..RM21 each. Well, as i say, no regrets cause i love his first book, Sabriel. However, that book is now missing from my trilogy. I seem to have a sort of curse when it comes to collecting trilogies, where the first book of the trilogy is always missing..Sigh, as in the case of Phillip Pullman's 'His Dark Materials' and of course my Garth Nix collection. I guess i will have to save up to complete my collection. I plan to buy 'The Golden Compass' by Phillip Pullman and 'Sabriel' by Garth Nix. however, i do have a tinge of regret buying the book by Stephen King. Why did i buy it, i still have no idea. Well, it was just so cheap, only RM8. And i really wanted to find out by myself what makes him such popular author.
Another good news. I finally get to read "The Da Vinci Code" by Dan Brown. After so long. Not only do i get to read it, but i get to own it to! That's like having a cake and actually getting to eat it too. So right now, i have lots of books to enjoy.
Hmm..i wonder why classical literature does not interest me. CK seems to enjoy them. I really don't understand how she can. The words are so darn small(eye pain), the language so deep(brain pain) and the plots unveals so slowly(boring). To put it bluntly, classical books put me to sleep. I have a shelf of classical books which i have not and do not think that i will ever read..Sigh,maybe i should sell them away and use the money to complete my trilogy..*good idea*. All in all, i guess it is just me. I think i love fantasy books because they are fast pace and exciting. Can't stand literature.bleh.

fongky: I feel exactly the same abt classics. It feels as if they beat about the bush and over dramatised so many things. No offense See Kei... but Wuthering Heights is a perfect example of being over dramatic...Romeo and Juliet...
hei, not all classics are that bad. for example, christmas carol, then how abt little women, and so on..........
