Post-exam blues

eaRS gLUeD tO: 'Beautiful Disaster' by Kelly Clarkson

Haven't blogged in a loooong time. Just finished my exams today. Disappointed to say that i did not do so well even after a week of laborious mugging, with my nose buried between my books and notes..sigh, only slept for three hours last night. So i guess what happened was, i studied too hard (1 slap for me). Studied too much (double the slap), until finally on D-day....

- blank -
I know, i know, it has passed. Get over it, but at the corner of my mind, the unsatisfaction of it all still haunts me. After all, it was an easy paper. I could have scored, if taken again under a different condition. I just hate the fact that i should have just been lazy and taken the short cut of spotting questions instead of studying everything. If i had done that, i would certainly been happier today...whine whine. Guess it will take me a while to get over this.
In the meantime, i am not in the mood to do anything related with my studies. Will take a break from work today. Having a throbbing headache due to lask of sleep. Guess i will only begin my thesis writing tomorrow(even though i am a little behind time..eeks, September is creeping up on me).
Don't really know what to do with the rest of the day(it's now 7.30pm). Think i will cook something healthy for dinner since i have been eating lots of maggi mee these few days, followed by my bath and maybe a movie session with sausage.
Found a place to stay after August, though it is a little far from campus(20 minutes walk). However, the rent is cheap(£40 pounds pw), cheap as in compared with the rent of around the uni area. It's not a house, but kind of like a hostel where there are lots of rooms. I guess it is safer this way as residents can look out for each other.
However(that's always a downside to everything), i would have to sign a one year contract..but i'm not sure if i will be staying here that long. The only thing i can do is to find someone to take over my contract if i were to leave earlier.
Oh well, things will sort out in the end.
