Me: Happily pours solution into gunmetal and brings to the fume hood to be heated up.
Lecturer: 'What's the solution you use to digest the metal?'
Me: (happily) Oh, water
Lecturer: You know the bridge made of iron, does it melt on rainy days, when in contact with water?
