The curious mind

eARs gLUeD tO: "Eleanor put you boots on" by Franz Ferdinand

This post is truly a random one. I just happened to look at my single bed(quite small) and thought, how come i never roll off my bed?
Hmm, curious. After all, if i were to be sleeping on a queen size bed, i would wake up in the morning at the other end of the bed where i fell asleep. That means i must have been rolling about while i was asleep. But this never happens if i was sleeping on a narrow bed.

Could it be that because our mind subconsciously reminds us that we are sleeping on a narrow bed even when we are asleep. But how does it know? Perhaps the image of the bed is etched in the mind, right before we go to sleep, as we look at the bed. Hmm....i guess then our brain never truly rests at all.

Anyway, i absolutely love my bed although it is small. It's springy and has two layers of comforters on top. And of course the cooling weather helps..Ahh, feel sleepy already..can't wait till bedtime!
