Ears glued to: "Take Me Out" by Franz Ferdinand
Went for this carolling practice in a church nearby. Christmas songs.
It was fun! Of course i can't sing, but the rest definately can. I think some of them are professional singers. When they reach the high notes, i can feel the hair on my arms stand up.
Anyway, this is my first time carolling. There is a mixture of asians and locals. This is actually my second practice, the first session i went to was last week.
This practice is to prepare us to sing during church service on the 12th december. No problem, singing in the church.. Ermm, i should do alright..i hope.
Unfortunately, the university's student union wants us to sing for them next week as part of their international christmas student event. As in, in front of many many many students!....groan
This i did not forsee..
It's quite hillarious really, cause i have never sung in a choir before, and i had only 2 practices so far, and next week i am to sing for the student's union!
Today's turn out was good. There were 4 guys, and they really have great booming voices. It was awesome, singing in the beautiful church today with the walls echoing our voices.
By the way, i am singing the saprano part..(now, doesn't that sound pro..hehe)
Truth is, when the note reaches too high, i automatically switch to alto...of course secretly
Oooo..it snowed very lightly a few days ago. .cool
