Fireworks galore!

I have just witness the most spectacular and generous display of fireworks i have ever seen in my life. It was just awesome!
The occasion was to mark the end of The Newcastle Gateshead Winter Festival.

It was by group F, a world renown pyrotechnic company responsible for the displays at the Athens Olympics. And man, were they good!
It lasted for half an hour and during that period, i was just transported into another world.

The location was perfect, at the Quayside, illuminating the already magnificient Sage Gateshead and the various bridges across the river Tyne.

There was a moment where the entire whole sky was filled with tiny sparkling stars showering upon all those beneath it. Sigh...that was my favourite part.
