Wantan

Ears glued to: 'Prayer' by Dara (songs from Dawson's Creek, Volume 2)

I am ambicious. Very ambicious....i attempted to make pork wantan. How hard could it be? All i needed to do was to get some mince pork, chop some ingredients, and wrap them up with wantan skin. Easy peasy..

So far so good, eveything looked great..the wrapping was perfecto! Then i fried some and the rest i put in the soup.
It looked absolutely delicious. Then some of my flat mates came out to try them. As i said, it looked THAT good.
You know how it feels when you cook something and you wait with bated breath as your guinea pigs(umm,i mean friends) taste your masterpiece, and then...

They spit it out...

Well, not exactly. I could see it in their painful, suffering faces. Took them awhile to actually regain their composure and say 'Not bad', which was followed by scampering back to the security of their rooms.
Not bad! where's my 'Excellent! Delicious! Don't study science, you should be a chief!'
I think i should be a dreamer.

Then I tasted it myself....

Needless to say, there is a tupperware of wantan sitting in the fridge for me to finish alone... .all for me...i think i am going to cry

ps: will be watching Harry Potter tonight. Can't wait!!
